Walter Davis: Serial Communicator
As our Chapter President, you'd think Walter Davis would be a pretty busy guy—and you'd be right. But no one kows exactly HOW busy! Besides running a couple of media businesses, Walter has been a TV and Radio host for a number of years. Because he believes in using his skills to be a positive force in the world, his Citizens Internet Radio Network, as well as many of his TV shows, often showcase stories focused on human rights and social justice. He also uses it as a media forum to expose MCA-I to millions of listeners. Some of Walter's individual shows have reached as many as 20,000 listeners.
You'll find the shows contain fascinating perspectives and important information—often facts that are not widely talked about! For example, during February 2014, the Citizens' Internet Radio Network will be presenting a series of radio shows highlighting holistic health, parental rights, cancer prevention and many other topics. But take a listen to past shows (still available in archives) and you'll get an idea of how broad Walter's interests are. These webcasts are supported by a number of sponsors and Walter constantly seeks more as he encourages listeners to support them. Shows are available world wide and can be accessed via computer or phone. Archived versions are available immediately after broadcast. We suggest you liosten in and share with family, friends and associates.
Vocalist and VO Artist Tina Wilson, a long-time member and a past president of the LA/OC Chapter of MCA-i, made the local paper. The OC register caught Tina in action while performing at a fundraiser for the Young Singers of Orange County, held at Chapman University. Among her busy schedule of performaing and being an in-demand VO professional, Tina always finds time to help others—whether its volunteering at a fundraiser or serving on the board of a non-profit professional organization like MCA-i. We're glad she got recognized! You can hear more of Tina on her website: http://tinawilsontalent.com ...And thanks to the Orange County Register!
