Emmett Kesel Recognized With International Award

Emmett Kesel has been a member of MCA-I long before it became MCA-I. He was a member of the original ITVA for years and has been the Orange County chapter treasurer for over 20 years. His dedication to this organization has been very steady, and he is always there, always willing to help out, never complaining even though he’s taken on this responsibility for such a long time. Emmett has been the quiet unassuming glue that has provided continuity to members new and old.  There is no one more loyal and supportive than Emmett, even after suffering a stroke a few years a go.  Good friend John Coleman offers, “I wanted to personally let you know the importance Emmett plays in maintaining our relationship with the international organization as well as keeping our chapter active and growing, even though he may not be a recognizable name on the national level.” Tonight, we remedy that situation by honoring Emmett Kesel with an International Shining Star Award. Emmett, please join me on stage to accept your award.

We have been sharing the sad news of Erik Villesvik's untimely
passing.  Details are still very sketchy but I wanted to share a
photo I found of Erik taken upon his election to position of Chapter  Secretary last year.  He will be greatly missed.

We will pass along more information when it is available.
