Starting the new year off right, we're sharing the business activities of some SoCal Media Pros members... Join our group and let us know what you're up to!

SoCal Media Pro Bill A. Jones This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. has been busy since his last network role as Rod Remington on GLEE!  Now he can announce he is cast in a recurring role on a new NBC series that debuts in February.  "I signed a non-disclosure agreement and can't give any details …yet.  I can say the scripts are great in the episodes I've seen so far.  More to come!"  Here's som more news from members, Bill Ennis, Brian Page, Larry Stimson and more...

Talk about your long-term clients…Producer-Videographer Bill Ennis of Media Magic just completed his 11th year working with the Association of Fundraising Professionals on the National Philanthropy Day Awards! Along with creating tribute videos for each of the Outstanding Honorees (nine this year, and more than 100 total), he also wrangled the live event (almost 1,000 attendees at the Grove of Anaheim this year!) That man can do it all!

With many more hyphenated-titles than we have room for, Voice Actor and Sound Designer, Brian Page of Vocal Images is in rehearsals for a new stage show, "A Murder Is Announced" —an Agatha Christie favorite— at Newport Theater Arts Center. The fun show runs Thurs thru Sundays starting Jan 27 for 5 weeks. Call now for tickets! The comfortable regional theater has been popular for 35 years both for it's beautiful location above the Newport Harbor and quality professional productions…

Producers Art Kirsch and John Coleman have been busy shooting video stories for their new venture, Celebrating Act 2. It's a website and eventual talk show aimed at the over-50 crowd. "We aim to inspire and celebrate active lifestyle of all the seniors over 50," says Art, "while also addressing the health, financial, relationship and other needs of the Boomers and beyond." They're looking for stories as well as sponsors so let them know if you've got ideas…After all we're all getting older every day!

SoCal Media Pros' president, Larry Stimson, and the CEO of Show Me recently directed the acclaimed comedy short, "The Call of the Sweet Silence" which he co-wrote with wife Maureen. It was produced by OC Filmmakers… He also exercised his acting chops in a delicious cameo as the bad guy in "Have A Nice Day (—Not Really)" written by Candace Chang. Everyone agrees he played against type as the domineering, disrespectful, Mean Boss!

That's from just a few of our members! We'll have more for you in February! What have YOU been doing professionally? Members of SoCal Media Pros are working professionals acknowledged as experts in their field. Join us and share your expertise!
