Meet New Member Manny Pacheco

TV and radio personality and author Manny Pacheco recently joined MCA-i. "I don't know what took me so long to join, really. I've known about the advantages of membership in the organization for a long time and been friends with many of the members," Pacheco said. Most recently Manny has enjoyed growing acclaim for his Forgotten Hollywood Book Series, which is now …

…included in the library collections of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, American Film Institute, Screen Actors Guild Foundation, Writers Guild Foundation, Hollywood Heritage Museum, among others.  His works were recently added as reference copies at the Richard J. Riordan Los Angeles Public Library and New York Public Library. The fascinating paperback series is available nationally, including on Amazon and at local book shops. Pacheco is currently in pre-production to turn his literary work into a documentary series, in conjuction with Forgotten Hollywood LLC, Nervousa Films LLC, and Vision4Media (all Orange County-based production companies).

A Southern California television and radio personality for over three decades, Manny was on NBC's Santa Barbara, co-hosted the Daytime Emmy-nominated In Studio, and he currently hosts Forgotten Hollywood, a weekly program on the Financial News and Talk Network. He is a 33-year member of Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). Manny was recently inducted as the youngest member of Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters (PPB). His sponsor was the legendary Art Laboe.

Pacheco is also an instructor at the Academy of Radio and Television Broadcasting (ARB) in Huntington Beach. Manny graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in the major of Political Science. He currently resides with his wife Laurie in Cypress.  Welcome to MCA-I, Manny!
