Meet MCA-I Member Mari McShane

Producer, Director and Writer, Mari McShane originally got involved in creating media content to promote her holistic health business, “Communicating ideas, explaining new concepts and modalities is more easily done with audio/visual media,” says Mari. “It’s the next best thing to being there in person.” She is currently pursuing media projects in internet television and radio focusing on her background and businesses in holistic health.

A successful business owner, entrepreneur, health practitioner, and healthy lifestyle advocate—and now media creator—McShane works through her corporation, Next Wave Marketing & Consulting Services, located in Dana Point, CA.

“MCA-I seemed to be a perfect match for my media ambitions,” said McShane when asked about her recent membership. Besides networking with professionals, I like the presentations at the monthly meetings. They cover a wide range of topics that can help me. Most of all, I enjoy the people. They’re knowledgeable, generous and fun!”

Mari holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Physical Education.  In addition, McShane is a Certified Biofeedback Specialist (CBS), a Certified Quantum Biofeedback Specialist (QBS), a Certified Pain Management Specialist (CPMS), and a Certified Stress Management Specialist (CSMS) through the Natural Therapies Certification Board.  Mari is a trained Health Coach, an Ordained Minister, and is a member of the Biofeedback Association of North America.

This unique background allows Ms. McShane to respectfully assist clients in their quest to gently find their natural balance of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health and wellness.  Mari specializes in the area of Pain, Inflammation, and Stress.

Mari first earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health and Physical Education where she pursued a personal interest scientifically considering how lifestyle choices - including diet, exercise, and training – affect overall health and healing.

This interest prompted her to pursue studies in Biomedical Engineering where she first encountered the powerful field of Electrical Medicine.  She was fascinated (and still is) with the ability to non-invasively communicate directly with a body on an electrical or “root cause” level which the body innately recognizes as natural, gentle, and correct (without chemicals or drugs).

Mari’s many passions include hiking the trails in the Dana Point headlands, healthy cooking (and eating), and increasing awareness of natural high tech solutions for holistic health and wellness issues. She’s an avid and voracious reader, and enjoys all kinds of music and dance – in particular Latin dance.
