The July meeting of the MCA-I OC/LA Chapter will be held at KOCE TV in Huntington Beach.  It was postponed from June. This special evening will include on the air, in-studio observation of the award winning,  “Real Orange,” the only nightly broadcast television program for and about Orange County, followed by a Cast and Crew meet and greet.  Then the straight skinny about getting your show on KOCE - from the people who make the decisions!  Whether it’s watching live TV production or how to get your program or film on TV, this is a meeting that you need to attend!

Arrive by 6:15 PM and join us LIVE in studio for “Real Orange” or come later and join the stragglers in the KOCE lobby which will be set up for observation of the studio production.  When the show is over at 7:00 you’ll get a chance to meet hosts Ed Arnold, Ann Pulice and the production crew, ask questions and pick up tips.

Our meeting officially starts at 7:15 with special guests KOCE Assistant General Manager, Ed Miskevich, and KOCE Director of Broadcasting, Pat Petric, the lady who schedules the programs.  Ed and Pat promise a straightforward discussion of exactly how to get your
show on KOCE - whether it is a finished program or a concept.  Are they looking for programming?  You Bet!  KOCE is looking for OC Filmmakers and producers with shows! What formats?  What subjects? What are their priorities?  Do they acquire or develop programs?  How does the process work and do you need a sponsor to get your show on the air?  Join MCAI on Wednesday night June 21st at KOCE for the answers.

As always, MCA-I members are free.  Non-members pay $15 at the door, Students $5. KOCE is located on the campus of Golden West College in Huntington Beach. Use the Beach Blvd exit off the 405 freeway and turn West /South toward the ocean, Then Right onto Center and right onto Gothard.
