MediaProCamp’11 Sponsored by Panasonic is Saturday, June 4th

It’s time to register for MediaProCamp’11, this year sponsored by Panasonic. Taking place at Santa Ana College’s Digital Media Center, we’ve lined up fascinating media experts, free food and fabulous prizes all for the low price of…FREE! But the real draw is YOU…

…because every media professional who attends shares their knowledge, experience and opinion in small ‘roundtable’ discussions! This makes MCAI’s MediaProCamp’11 a unique format offering career solution-sharing, training, brain-storming and professional networking. If you haven’t been to an MCAI MediaProCamp yet, get ready for a concentrated and powerful day of collaboration with fellow professionals from all aspects of the media.

We’ve also invited a number of media notables with whom you can exchange ideas—or simply pick their brains, including: Tommy James, Tech Rep from Panasonic; Co-Keynote Speakers Philip Hodgetts (author and master editor) and Marcelo Lewin founder and owner of FilmmakingWebinars.com; Internet businessman and multi-cast mogul, Walter Davis; VO artist, trainer and founder of OC VO Peeps, Anne Ganguzza; Colin Smith, one of Adobe’s top instructors; Pro Audio expert and engineer Tim Keenan and OC Film Commissioner, Janice Arrington. They’re all slated to appear. Are you going to join us? It may be Free but you do have to pre-register online at MCAI’s Meetup group: http://www.meetup.com/newmedia-82/

OR find the link to register at www.mcai-oc.org

The day starts when you arrive between 8:00 and 8:45 with “coffee and…” (gratis of course) While you sign in (you must have pre-registered online) we gather and choose topics for the first round of seminars. Roundtable sessions start at 9:00 AM. Attendees suggest topics on any subject that interests them and the most popular topics are assigned a meeting space. We may have anywhere up to six roundtables running simultaneously. Many are intimate groups so the sharing of ideas, solutions and advice makes for powerful networking. All the sessions are deliberately short (45 minutes) to encourage concentrated participation. Did we mention that the FREE lunch is being prepared by the well-known Taste Catering?

We’ll raffle off doorprizes, including an Adobe CS5.5, Free On Demand Webinars from FilmmakingWebinars.com and more, when it’s all over at 2:45 PM.

This year we’re very pleased to have Panasonic http://www.panasonic.com/ as our primary sponsor. Panasonic is also sponsoring all the McdiaProCamps held by MCAI chapters around the country! A big thanks also to Adobe for supplying a CS5.5 to giveaway. Local sponsors include Creative Media Recording in Cypress and Voice Over Artist Julie Nagode and FilmmakingWebinars.com And of course the wonderful location for Media ProCamp is provided as a public service by both Santa Ana College and the Digital Media Center http://www.dmc-works.com/ We thank them for their support without which MediaProCamp would not exist.

SPONSORS NEEDED We still need more sponsors to help! Besides keeping this a FREE event, your name will reach a long list of media professionals a number of times through your sponsorship. Opportunities of all kinds are available for your support, so give us a call and let’s talk about what you can do to keep the OC media scene vibrant! And if you can’t give money how about your time? MediaProCamp is an all volunteer effort. You can make a difference. Contact John Coleman This email address is being protected from spambots.
