Join us as Tom James, Broadcast Rep for Panasonic explains the differences and advantages of the various HD formats.  Tom has spent 23 years working for Panasonic and clients such as NBC-Universal, CBSTV City, Fox News Corp, HDNET, Regal Cinemedia, ABC, Comcast Digital, Starz Encore, and more.

Parking is available in the Parking Structure at Sycamore and Lemon Street for a fee of  $3.00 and there is street parking available at that time. From the parking lot one walks east on Sycamore through the main university gate. The large building on the right side is Beckman Hall.

This is an important explanation of an emerging technology that will effect all creative people; programmers, independent producers and filmmakers.  Tom’s presentation will be enlightening and thought provoking even for those with tech knowledge. 

This is also an opportunity to see the state of the art film and media facilities at Chapman.  The newly named Dodge College is fast becoming is one of the country’s leading educational institutions in film and media.  Come early, see the studios and mingle with the student filmmakers.  Networking begins at 6:30 and the meeting gets underway at 7:15
